Content Description Endorsement on letter to Sherman from Eads. Apparently written after 1-27-1875. Sherman comments on a letter from Eads on deepening the entrance to the Mississippi River by Jetties; "He has shown the ability to finish anything he undertakes." AES on page 4 of letter, written in pencil. The letter written in purple ink. Sherman forwards to Senator (John) Sherman.
