Content Description | Burton and Philip Audebert mention that Knox had previously given them certificates verifying that they had remained in Philadelphia during a fever yellow epidemic in 1793. Write that Congress is now considering providing compensation to those who remained, but the Clerk of Congress has misplaced their certificates. Ask Knox to prepare new ones for them so they might be able to receive the benefits they are owed. Signed by both Burton and Audebert. |
