Additional Information It is apparent from Sylvester's journal that she worked as a weaver in Scituate, Massachusetts. One of her clients, Joshua Jacob, was a member of the Scituate militia and a possible participant in the Battle of Lexington. In the Somerset County Judicial Records, 1671-1675, there is mention of a "feather bed & a boullster & a pillow bound up in a wrought Civerled."
