Content Description Reports that, in accord with Patterson's "request & to accelerate the works," he has given a lot of assistance in the previous twenty days. Indicates that some on the Philadelphia General Committee of Defence have observed that he did so without authority. Requests that he be given some authority if he is to be of future service to the committee.
