Content Description Written at 4:35 PM at the office. Today is her birthday and the girls at work gave her a lovely corsage. Is happy that he told her he may be shipped out, as she always wants to know what is going on with him. Agrees with him that Italy's surrender is not to be cause for too much joy, as it is now the German's first line of defense and they will fight for it. Knows his chances of getting into OSS are nil.
