Mentions that he is happy to hear of the acquittal of the Pennsylvania judges but is dismayed to find out that 13 members voted them guilty. Comments that "party-rage" prevails in the courts of justice.

Additional Information Chase was appointed Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court by George Washington in 1796. Articles of impeachment were brought up against him in 1804. Tilghman was the Chief Justice of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court from 1805 to 1827.
