Content Description Major General Howe writes to discuss a boat that he has been given by Mr. [Daniel] Carthy for temporary use. Quips that his only alternative would be "walking on the water, which had I not a Broken leg I Really want Faith to do." Declares that he does not want to part with the boat yet because he has a broken leg, and expects most of their transportation to be by water. Mentions Colonel John Crane.
