Content Description The report reflects the early distaste for the slave trade in the U.S. House Document 46, 15th Congress, 1st session. Accompanied with a bill supplementary to the act, To prohibit the importation of slaves into any port or place within the jurisdiction of the United States: passed 2d March 1807. Endpaper states: "The first copy of this report being incorrectly printed, is to be cancelled, and this copy substituted."
