Content Description | Account entry 816, possibly clipped from a larger account book. Commodore Dale discusses the balance of his bond by the brig Pomona. Mentions a purchase of sugar 22 November 1793 aboard the ship Columbia. Verso contains partial receipt 820 for bonds by the brig Sally dated 25 May 1793, and refers to a coffee purchase completed 11 June 1793 on the brig Nymph. Both receipts state that Sharp Delany, customs collector in Philadelphia, oversaw the transactions cited. |
