Petition to the members of the Massachusetts Bay Council and the House of Representatives requesting that a port and a naval office be established upon the Kennebeck River (present day Kennebec River, Maine). States that the naval office at Boothbay is very inconvenient for trade since it is a great distance to Boothbay or Falmouth.
