Proclamation dated 10 March 1779 from Middle-Brook, New Jersey. Act made law by the Pennsylvania legislature to raise $1, 900,000 from taxes in the state. Reaction in the House of Commons dated 5 December 1778 to a proclamation issued by commissioners in New York. Tolls for bridge over Schuylkill River.
