Content Description Matilda writes that she has resigned herself to stay in the rural country for the winter, and anxiously awaits Johnston's return. She states that she is anxious to see how he has improved since he went to college, and promises to entertain him while he is at home. She also gives an account of a visit with a fortune teller.
