Content Description Resolution submitted by Pickman and copy issued by the Secretary of the Commonwealth, Alden Bradford. The state was seeking $11,000 remuneration for defense expenses from "the late war," probably the War of 1812. The date refers to its approval by the state legislature. Sent with a circular letter discussing the resolution (see GLC06313.134).
