Content Description Writes about a resolution passed at the last session of Congress stating that "all companies or incorporations associated for opening roads & making canals which they may respectively concure, require & deserve the aid of the government ... " These companies may provide the Treasury with information about their ventures in order to receive patronage from the government. Goes on to detail the exact information necessary to submit a claim. Written as Secretary of the Treasury.
