Content Description | Informs Mrs. Russell that if some of her husband's clothing is missing that it probably got mixed up with other people's. Explains to her that often the men who arrive from camp are so sick that they cannot take of their own baggage and that it is impossible to prevent some things from being mixed up. Writes that other than what Mr. Russell was buried in he believes that she has every article of clothing that was known to belong to her husband. Informs her that the clothes that were given to her husband while at the hospital get returned to the hospital. States that the $1.75 that Mr. Russell had will be sent to her with the change being in the form of stamps. Describes the coffin that Mr. Russell was buried in and the location. The letter has watermark on the top left hand corner. |
