Content Description | Report of the expenditures of the Colorado militia from 1864-1865 compiled by Grant as Secretary of War ad interim for the House of Representatives. Pages 1-14 of report consists of correspondence between assistant adjutant generals in the Colorado militia, including E.D. Townsend and Thomas M. Vincent, to the War Department. Pages 15-23 consists of charts of expenditures by the militia in 1864-1865. Dated from the day the report was "referred to the Committee on Military Affairs and ordered to be printed." Cover seems to missing, or pages were pulled from a larger book. |
