Content Description John writes with news of his arrival to New London, where he finds himself busy trying to transport "dearre and appells" from Hartford for the Sloop he and his brother-in-law Vetch had purchased. The ship, which had been "Creaned and Tealeered," is still a few details short of being finished. He also hopes that questions are done regarding "our wines" (the wine he was illegally importing from French Canada). Docketed on address leaf.
