Content Description Hylan writes to the editor of the "Nation War Record and Review," as Mayor of New York. He responds to the question: "After Death - What?" Hylan writes that death is like birth, and man passes into a larger world than the one in which he lives. He uses this theme as a comfort for the high casualty rate of World War I.
