Additional Information Jared Whitman graduated from Brown University in 1805 and was admitted to bar in 1808, he was a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives (1827-8), the state senate (1839-41), a commissioner of Plymouth County (1828-34), and a delegate to the Massachusetts Constitutional Convention (1853).
