Content Description | Informs Harmon that an Anti-Slavery Society meeting will be held in Harmon's town of Haverhill, Massachusetts. Writes that "the South are beginning [to] feel the effect of agitation and are alarmed for their Patirarchical [sic] institution." Encourages Harmon to ask his friends to attend the meeting as well. Announces that Mr. and Mrs. "Taft" (Craft) will be attending the county meeting and are sure to draw in a large crowd from "mere curiosity." |
