Transcript	Show/hide Washington Octr 28. 1818 Sir Mr. Jeator comes up with a small waggon, or carry-all, to bring down such articles, as you and he may think proper to send, & also to see the place & make arrangements, as to future supplies. On the business of the slaves I do not know that I can give you other instructions, than you already have. Major Saunders, is I understand, the brother of the Lady, a man of honor, with whom you may communicate freely. The condition, on which I am willing to return the slaves, you know. If they are returned, I am willing to settle them, on her brother for her benefit. I expect that Mr. Jeator will be down soon- with esteem yours James Monroe
