Content Description Written from camp near Franklin. The cavalry captured 136 Confederate prisoners. Mentions widespread sickness in camp. He shipped out a box and plans to send more money. Writes, "That man Jones was not shot yesterday. He was, by order of the president, sentenced to the Penitentiary during the war" (refer to GLC05241.40).
