Content Description | Asks Lewis to deliver Mr. [George] Joy's "deposition respecting Mr. [Daniel] Parker having directed him [Mr. Joy] to pay the money which Mr. Parker took out of the funds of the Ship Empress of China in New York in the beginning of the year 1784 ..." Also asks Lewis to deliver a copy of a paper containing Parker's signature in regards to his [Parker's] conduct on a particular occasion. Says Mr. [Thomas] Randall, who is Samuel Shaw's partner, is wishing to have the matter closed as soon as possible. |
