Title Henry Knox to James Webber about William Knox's medical bills
Date 7 January 1786
Author Knox, Henry (1750-1806)
Recipient Webber, James
Document Type Correspondence
Content Description Writes to Webber regarding the money he owes Webber for his brother William Knox's medical costs. Has sent with the present letter a bill of exchange worth 185 pounds sterling drawn by Samuel Ogden from a firm in Liverpool. Sent another sum by Captain Cowpen's ship which sailed for London the previous month. Asked William to write a letter to Webber to include in the present packet, but is unsure he will comply because he is still in a "dejected state of mind" and his recovery is taking a bit longer than expected.
