Mr. Hammond will set out for Mount Vernon on Wednesday but Mr. Ternant likely will not make the trip due to his health. In a struck paragraph also discusses the volatile situation in France. Notes "the affairs of france are progressing from bad to worse..." Knox's retained draft.
