Total balance amounts to $15,517.46 ½ "due from Genl. Knox for which he is accountable and for which he must be charged on the books of the Treasury." Noted by Nourse: "I do certify that the Foregoing Acct. is a True Copy the original of which is Filed on Record in this office." Written in the Registers Office in the Treasury Department. Watermarked "Taylor" and "G R" under a crest.
