Hopes to catch a packet leaving for New Haven in order to get home a few days quicker, which "Mr. D," (probably William Duer) thinks is better. Wants Knox to write to the legislative committee in Boston that will decide on their land purchase in order to make negotiations easier. Delivered the notes to Captain Randall.
