Content Description View of 12 rectangular buildings comprising the hospital. Water tower can be seen to the left of the image, along with part of the white fence that bordered the hospital. Graphite inscription on verso: "Harewood located on farm of W. W. Corcoran on Seventh St. Road. near Soldiers' Home. -; 15 period of service from Sep. 1862 to May 1866. under the charge of Surgeon F. E. Mitchel, First Maryland Regiment, Dr. Thomas Antisell, and Robert E. Bontecore." Additional inscription on verso: "Harwood Hospital XXXI 825." See GLC 5111.01.0169
