Content Description Kane, H. P. Brooks, and James [Lawrence?] recommend Dr. Edward Sparks of Annapolis to Toucey's consideration for the post of naval storekeeper. Brooks relates that Sparks has recently been removed from two positions on account of his political sentiments.
