Content Description Davis explains to Barker that Caramanli's "inconsistency" has jeopardized all the work Davis has done on the ex-Bashaw's behalf. He also writes of his persisting hope "of procuring the means of liquidating Sidi Ahmet's debts, in case their amount is not exorbitant," and asks Barker for specific information regarding the debts.
