Content Description Davis informs Caramanli that through his work, in cooperation with the efforts of Caramanli's nephew, the Bey of Tripoli, "I feel no doubt but that the sovereignty of Derna with it's [sic] revenues may be obtained for you, and confirmed to your heirs forever."
