Content Description Comments that he just returned from a meeting in Chandlersburg, [Pennsylvania] where they sang and had a prayer meeting. Tells Mary which girls went home with whom from the meeting. Describes eavesdropping on a conversation that he heard on his way back from the meeting. Writes of General George Meade stopping for the winter. Mentions that there will be a donation held at a gentleman's house next Wednesday.
