Content Description | Outlines how his heirs, his wife Rachel, son George, and daughters Harriet and Charlotte will divide his estate upon his death. Appoints his wife and friends Augustus Van Cortland and George Baines executors, and endows the latter two with the power to (if they see fit) remove his children from "their Mother and appropriate the Interest of their respective Legacies and incomes to their maintenance." Gives one of his four slaves to each of his family members and orders some of his property sold and the money lent out to support his three children. |
