Content Description Pro-slavery newspaper, vol. 1 no. 6. Misdated June 11 but actually 14th, as noted inside newspaper. Anti-secessionist newspaper speaks of disloyal slaves now fighting against the survival of Virginia. There are also articles that argue that in fighting the federal government, Virginia is loosing slavery without compensation. Lists predictions of what will happen if secession fighting continues.
