Signed by Stewart as Superintendent of the Naval Records and Library to Walker as the wife of the late Rear Admiral John G. Walker. Stewart reports that John G. Walker's name has been selected for one of the new destroyers being built. Would like her to designate a family member to act as a sponsor when the vessel is launched.
