Also signed by Emmanuel Lebreton Deschapelles, who swears an oath of allegiance to the Constitution of the United States following the Civil War. Deschapelles vows to " ... faithfully support all laws and proclamations which have been made during the existing rebellion with reference to the emancipation of slaves." Contains a five cent stamp. Torn along two creases. |
