Content Description | Letter in reference to Henry McSherry's attempts to find a job by pulling strings. Written by Bartow to the surgeon Maccinow (his name might be misspelled, the handwriting is not clear) in Baltimore. References Maccinow's letter of 11 April. Says the decisions involving the issuing of work was stopped by "the Bureau," and that he has learned that jobs will only be issued to those of "certain classes." Tells him to inform Dr. Henry McSherry to apply to Dr. Whelan for work. |
