Also signed by members of the Massachusetts Bay Council, including: Artemas Ward, Caleb and Thomas Cushing, John Winthrop, Moses Gill, B. White, John Taylor, William Phillips, John Whitcomb, L. Hopkins, Daniel Davis, Jer. Powell, Jabez Fisher, E. Thayersir, and Dr. Samuel Holten. Dearing was appointed a captain in the 7th company, 1st regiment of militia for Cumberland County, commanded by Colonel Peter Noyes. Accompanied by an unidentified silhouette (see GLC01450.520.02).
