Content Description Returns a copy of the Nautical Almanac for 1774 because it is missing pages containing calculations of the eclipses of Jupiter's satellites for the month of May. He wishes to exchange it for a complete one. Oliver was one of the founders of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and a member of the American Philosophical Society. He published an "Essay on Comets" the previous year.
