Content Description Illustrated publication advertisement for a recently published book about Lewis experience as a captive of Chief Black Hawk during the Black Hawk War. Published in the aftermath of the war after Black Hawk was taken as a captive on a tour for the United States. The advertisement refers to the tour. An unrelated poem is printed on verso: "The Factor's Garland, or The Turkish Lady." Date inferred from the publication year of Lewis' narrative.
