Content Description Constable tells Knox he transmitted Knox's letter from 23 July "to the party for whom I was in treaty respecting the Lands bordering on the St. Lawrence." Constable has received orders to purchase the land "agreeable" to Knox's terms, and asks Knox to answer him as soon as possible.
