Will not be able to be present at Holker's case as engagements will detain him until 6 November, "when it will be too late to attend the trial." Writes, "I shall endeaver to effect the discount for the two thousand dollars mentioned in your letter when you draw, agreeably to your request." "Free" stamped on address leaf with no signature.
