Additional Information Toffinetti's-Popular restaurant in Times Square, NYC- Established in 1940 after being a hit at the 1939 World's Fair at Flushing Meadows, Queens, N.Y. "Russian Story" was compiled from 25 different Soviet documentaries . Subtitled A Film Cavalcade of a Thousand Years of Russian Heroism, the picture is an tribute to the USSR, which was one of America's staunchest allies at the time.
