Content Description | Statement signed by the owners of shares of the proceeds captured on the ship Pilgrim's first cruise. Total of 39 signatures, Leach being the first. Documents that privateer Hugh Hill was the captain, and that the ship was in the agency of John Lovett. States that the men received the sum from Elizabeth Lovett, from the estate of the deceased John Lovett. Lists the name of each owner, the number of shares owned, sums paid to each, name of a witness, their signature, and the date. Lovett was a privateer ship merchant and captain in Beverly, Massachusetts. |
