Content Description | Printed and manuscript document. Partially printed form on first page stating that Diehl, a Notary Public for Pennsylvania, at the request of James Warrington, went to collect payment of a promissory note of John Nicholson, but found the business closed. States that he left notice of this at the house of Robert Morris, the endorser of the note. The second page is a copy of a note dated 15 March 1795 signed by a secretary for Morris and Nicholson promising to pay $5000. Blind stamp of notary on front. |
