Content Description | Written by Bradford as Pennsylvania's Attorney General to Nicholson as Comptroller General. Says the case "Com v. Matlock" -- probably Comptroller v. Matlock -- will commence today. Wants Nicholson to meet him at Mr. Wilson's -- perhaps the well-known patriot James Wilson -- at 10 a.m. Will be obliged if Nicholson will bring the resolves of the Assembly. Docketed in Nicolson's hand. |

Additional Information | Bradford was the son-in-law of Elias Boudinot and was a member of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. He was selected by George Washington to be U.S. Attorney General in 1794 to replace Edmund Randolph. He died in office in 1795. |
