Content Description Albumen print of Alexander Gardner's photograph showing General Hooker's staff in mock battle. With notes by Capt. Benjamin H. Ticknor, 45th Mass. Infantry and 2nd Mass. Heavy Artillery, identifying "Mock fight over the body of A. R. Waud, artist" and "Col. Dahlgren & staff & [et]c." on the reverse side. Harper's Weekly field artist and photographer Waud was traveling with General Hooker at the time this photograph was taken.
