Content Description Planning for upcoming elections in New York State politics. "You must defeat them at all hazards. I doubt the policy of the course you pursue...they will as they did here & in Troy bring up any thing that wears hair without relation to politics or qualifications. Boys, aliens, federalists & negroes." At the time both Van Buren and Miller were heavily involved in New York Democratic Politics.
