Content Description | Catharine Alexander Duer, also known as Lady Kitty Duer, wife of William Duer, writes that she and her husband have sent the bearer, their old servant Henry, to Philadelphia so he could check on his petition to Congress. Hopes Knox will extend his friendship to Henry and help him receive whatever Congress decides is due him. Sends love on behalf of herself and her husband to Mrs. Knox. |
