Content Description | Witnessed by Barent Jansen and Simon Boerum. Certified by Justice of the Peace John Lefferts. De be Abois, "of Brookland and in Kings County on Nassaw Island in the Province of New-york," a yeoman, and his wife, Marritie, agree to sell land to Johannes Johnsen. Boerum was Clerk of Kings County from 1750 until his death. In 1774 and 1775 he was a member of the Continental Congress. Signs with his mark. |
